Spain: A Star in the Making - Sergio Rodriguez

Sergio Rodriguez's life has turned upside down since guiding Spain to the gold medal at the European Under-18 Championships for men in Zaragoza.

The point guard was voted most valuable player of the tournament with a performance in the final against Turkey that brought much acclaim from the basketball world.

Vidorreta Hails Rising Star

Spain coach Txus Vidorreta has revealed his admiration for Sergio Rodriguez after the youngster made a stunning impact on the European Under-18 Championships.

Rodriguez emerged as the star attraction at the Zaragoza-staged tournament, leading Spain to the title.
