The French, winners of the tournament in 2001, had a 10-point deficit to make up at half-time, but came back valiantly to secure a 77-68 win and a place in Sunday's final against the defending champions. |

Defending champions Spain booked their place in the final of the Women's Under-16 European Championships on Saturday with a tense 51-49 victory over Turkey.
A strong first-half performance proved vital for the Spanish, who then held off a late fightback from their opponents to keep alive their chances of lifting a second successive title. |
