Rose Anderson is another player to have graduated from the World University Games team for whom she played at the 2009 event in Belgrade, Serbia while she also played for the U20 Great Britain team having represented Scotland previously. Last summer during the Qualifying Round, she made a number of cameos averaging over ten minutes per game and has proven a useful role player for Coach Maher. She is a guard who can make shots or get to the hoop although she comes into EuroBasket Women having played less competitive basketball than normal during the last year. Having used up her eligibility at College, she had to switch sports completely and has spent her final year at Central Oklahoma rowing instead of playing basketball although she did still keep her skills honed by working out on the court.
