Portugal's Sonia Reis has admitted she surprised even herself after putting in a superb performance to lift her side to victory over Great Britain and into a strong position in Group B of the Division B EuroBasket Qualifiers.
The 22-year-old tore apart the British with 29 points and 15 rebounds in Saturday's 72-54 win in Nottingham.

Portugal stormed out to a 26-15 lead, thanks largely to some strong inside play from Reis, and early indications were that the hosts would be in for a long night.
Portugal started strong in Vagos and beat Estonia for their second triumph in three games in EuroBasket Women Division B.
With the country already in a festive spirit following the men's qualification for EuroBasket 2007 in Spain, the women beat the Estonians 62-50 in Group B.
Bosnia-Herzegovina needed overtime but finally beat Portugal 71-65 in Sarajevo on Wednesday.
Playing in their first game of EuroBasket Women Division B this year, the hosts trailed 38-27 at half-time but closed the gap to 46-40 after three quarters.
