Career: AZS Poznan (Poland-PLKK, 2005-11)
While Weronika Idczak has yet to step out in European club competition or play for the senior National Team, she can rely on her wealth of experience gained during six seasons in the Polish league with her hometown club - even though she is only 22-years-old. She has already played at the All Star game and was named in the PLKK All Newcomer team in 2006. She has also represented her country at various youth levels. She is a versatile guard who is happy with the ball in her hands shooting or finding an open teammate. Last season with Poznan she totalled almost four assists per game and this was during a tough year for the team. Now she will be hoping to continue her development by persuading Coach Maciejewski she can be an asset coming off the bench. |
