Katarzyna Krezel was left disappointed when, unlike fellow rising talents in the Polish league such as Izabela Piekarska and Daria Mieloszynska, she didn't manage to step out at EuroBasket Women 2009. Having completed a successful NCAA career she made a big splash during her rookie pro-season in 2008-09. Since that time, she has been up against stronger competition in EuroLeague Women and has had to do it all in limited minutes off the bench on a deep roster. Still, she is another Polish All Star and will be desperate to make her tournament debut. Quick and effective on court, she could be a great option for Coach Maciejewski if he is looking for someone who has the ability to knock down a shot and make an instant impact, most probably off the bench.
