Agnieszka Szott
Career: Sleza Wroclaw (Poland-PLKK, 1999-2002), Lotos Gdynia (Poland-PLKK, 2002-03), Cukierki Odra Brzeg (Poland-PLKK, 2003-04), AZS Gorzow (Poland-PLKK, 2004-08), Elizur Ramla (Israel-D1,2008-09), Sdent Sierre Basket (Switzerland-LNA, 2009), KV Imperial AEL Limassol (Cyprus-A1, 2009-10), Artego Bydgoszcz (Poland-PLKK, 2010-11)

An efficient forward, Agnieszka Szott didn't feature during EuroBasket Women 2009 but is now back in the mix having played previously at the 2007 event. Indeed she could be considered the revelation of the year in Poland where she has enjoyed a real renaissance after a string of excellent performances. While most of her best work is done in the paint, Szott can step outside and take her defender to the perimeter where she is comfortable stroking home an occasional three-ball as well as creating space for others in the paint. A proficient rebounder, Szott is the leader with Artego Bydgoszcz in the Polish league and also won a Swiss Championship in 2009. She offers energy and a steady influence under the basket for Coach Maciejewski who knows her well having coached her at Gorzow earlier in her career.
