One of the most talented players out of Poland may appear in Slovenia for his second and final EuroBasket. His only appearance so far was in 2009 on home soil. His time with the national team was often cut short because of injuries, but his unusual skills, experience and calm are very much welcomed by Coach Bauermann. He was also the starting power forward for the national team in 2012 and contributed greatly in the most important games. Michal Ignerski can play both forward positions, using his 2.07 height and amazing shooting skills in a number of manners. He is well respected in Europe, being one of the few players who have managed to play in the play-offs in four major European leagues: Spanish, Russian, Turkish and Italian.
