Lucie Blahuskova wrapped up a magnificent performance in Group A with a game-high 26 points as the Czech Republic remained unbeaten in the European Championships by beating Poland.

The 21-year-old centre, who increased her average to 21.2 points a game in the tournament, made seven of 17 shots from the floor and 12 of 13 from the free throw line, and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Czechs stormed into last eight without a defeat.

Both sides had already qualified for the quarter-finals so this game was about positions in the final standings.

The Czechs, with their first place finish, take on Group B's fourth placed team Belgium in the quarter-finals while Poland face Slovakia.

The Poles started well, leading 19-15 after the opening quarter but the Czechs limited their opponents to just 10 second quarter points and took a 33-29 advantage to the changing rooms at half-time.

Poland made just three of 15 shots in the quarter, which proved to be the decisive 10 minutes in the game because the Czechs held firm the rest of the way despite the Poles remaining close.

Agnies Bibrzyscka had a strong game for Poland with 23 points. She was eight of 17, including four of nine from behind the three-point line.
