Pawel Leonczyk is known for his aggressive approach and is one of the most competitive and reliable players in the Polish league. He has a good track record as a finisher under the basket and also a solid rebounder, two qualities which could catapult him onto the roster for EuroBasket 2011 having not previously represented his country at a major tournament. He is also a two time Polish League All Star who has really made big strides during the past few seasons at Energa Czarni, including some experience playing in EuroChallenge two years ago. At 24-years-old, Leonczyk still has time to further mature and hone his skills but there will be no better way to test himself and improve than being handed minutes in Lithuania. |
