Agnieszka Skobel
Career: MUKS Poznan (Poland-PLKK, 2005-08), Inea AZS Poznan (Poland-PLKK, 2008-10), AZS Gorzow (Poland-PLKK, 2010-11)

Still only 22, Agnieszka Skobel still has time on her side to develop into an even better player as she tries to meet the expectations of the promise showed at youth level. She played at EuroBasket Women 2009 but perhaps didn't quite deliver to the level of her unquestionable talent. While her trademark defensive pressure was as excellent as ever, she struggled offensively and shot only 21% from inside and 10% from the perimeter. She is surely destined to improve on those numbers at her second major tournament, especially since she has more experience under her belt after a EuroLeague Women campaign with Gorzow last season. While that too was also tough, the National Team needs her to bring those quick hands and her propensity for steals along with her hard work and rebounding. If she can improve her finishing and continue making good decisions on the wings she could be a major asset.
