Hosts Poland will face off against Lithuania for fifth place at the U18 European Championship Men after victories in the 5th- 8th place classification round while Ukraine and Greece secured their spot in Division A and sent Czech Republic and Finland back to Division B.
Mateusz Ponitka collected 21 points and 10 rebounds while Michal Michalak had 13 points and Przemyslaw added 10 points and eight rebounds in Poland's 70-66 win over France.
France were led by 18 points, seven rebounds and four steals from Livio Jean-Charles and 17 points by Hugo Invernizzi.
The French will play for seventh place against Croatia.
The defending champions Lithuania beat Croatia 87-60 thanks to Arturas Gudaitis collecting 27 points and eight rebounds. Simonas Kymantas added 12 points for Lithuania.
Croatia were paced by Marko Ramljak with 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four steals. Matej Buovac added 11 points in the losing effort.
In the relegation round, Ukraine will retain their spot in Division A thanks to a 75-52 victory over Finland, who will be relegated to Division B next summer after one summer in the top flight.
Volodymyr Gerun collected 23 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks as Ukraine improved to 4-1.
Klym Artamonov added 15 points and 11 assists while Andriy Kobets, Ilya Zhukovskyy and Oleksandr Furs all scored 10 points.
Finland dropped to 1-4 despite 11 points from Joonas Cavén and Ilari Seppälä while Tommi Huolila scored 10 points.
Greece also defended their Division A status by knocking off the Czechs 78-59 to improve to 3-2 while Czech Republic are 2-3.
Giannoulis Larentzakis collected 22 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead Greece and Emmanouil Tselentakis added 16 points and Petros Melissaratos scored 12 points.
Martin Kríz paced the Czechs with 20 points and nine rebounds while Petr Herman had 14 points and Tomás Kyzlink chipped in 10 points.
