Luxembourg, Belgium, the Netherlands, F.Y.R. of Macedonia and highly-favoured Poland are making up Group C at the U20 European Championship Division B.
All three performed well at the Turgut Atakol International Tournament in June where the five other teams were sides competing in Division A.
Ponitka led the friendly tournament in Turkey with an average of 15 points per game and Michalak also provided a scoring boost of 11 per contest.
Big man Karnowski, the MVP of the U18 All-Star Game last year in Lithuania, averaged 7.8 points and 4.4 rebounds.
