One of the true stars of the last 15 years or so in the women's game, the small forward is a legend of Spanish basketball as the most decorated and celebrated player of a generation. A former EuroBasket Women MVP back in 2007, her last outing in the tournament two years ago was marred by injury which had a big impact on the disappointing early exit suffered by her team. Whilst she may no longer be quite the same driving force and pulsating heartbeat as a few years ago, the 36-year-old still brings plenty to the table, leading the side in scoring last summer during qualification. Her immeasurable intensity levels, priceless experience and versatility will be vital for coach Mondelo. She played in EuroLeague Women at the start of the season, but returned home to Madrid mid-season. EuroBasket Women 2013 could well be a fitting swansong for a truly great player.
