Starting his professional career in 1998, and then making his first appearance in Euroleague at age 18 and having now played basketball in 11 clubs across Europe, collecting numerous championships, Blagota Sekulic is the definition of a veteran on the Montenegrin squad, consequently being given team captain honours. A standout prospect at youth level, Sekulic played a significant role on Yugoslavia's U18 and U20 teams in 2000 and 2002. However, the 31-year-old had to wait a decade to put on a national vest again, suiting up for his native Montenegro during last summer's Qualification Round. The big man averaged 9.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in 16.4 minutes on the floor, proving that he still has some of the fuel left that spurred his career back in the day.
