Louis Flores of Krasnye Krylia Samara led his team to a EuroChallenge Final Four birth and brought home the Quarter-Finals Player of the Week award with an outstanding performance in game two against KK Zagreb.

His efficiency of 38 was fueled by 35 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, with his last two points sealing the 79-78 triumph against a determined KK Zagreb squad that would not go away throughout the whole game.
Flores was 12/18 from the field and 8/10 from the free throw line to spark the "Red Wings", who only got double digit scoring from one other player.
"We worked hard, especially in the end, following the coach's instructions - and we're going to the Final Four!" he commented after the nailbiter against KK Zagreb.
Runners up in the Quarter-Finals Player of the Week race were Ralph Mims of Roanne Basket with a fine performance and an efficiency of 25 on tuesday against Apoel and Flores' teammate Marcus Douthit with the same number, also in game one on tuesday.
The 1.88m guard, who was born in Cabreras in the Dominican Republic has been the leading scorer throughout the season for the Russian team, who are struggling on the domestic front.
He is the third best scorer in the competition at 18.8 ppg and one of the main reasons for the current success of the Samara team.
It is Flores' first year in a FIBA Europe competition, but the 28 year old is used to competing internationally for his home country in the FIBA Americas.
