EuroChallenge Quarter-Finals Set

09 March 2010

With the Last 16 of EuroChallenge wrapping up on Tuesday evening the match-ups are set for the Quarter-Final Round which will begin March 23rd.

BG Gottingen cruised into the Quarter-Finals with an 86-67 victory over EiffelTowers Den Bosch.  They will face BC FMP Belgrade which advanced thanks to a convincing 81-55 victory over Belgacom Liege.

Belgrade's win means that Artland Dragons will not be joining their German rivals in the next round. Artland led late before falling to KK Zagreb 69-67, which sent the Croatians into the Quarter-Finals where they will face Krasnye Krylia.

Meanwhile, the other two series will feature Italian side Scavolini Pesaro taking on Antwerp Giants and Roanne Basket facing APOEL Nicosia.

The Quarter-Final Round will be played in a three game format with the higher ranked team hosting the first and last game.
