This year's EuroCup teams from Russia are finding the going extremely tough so far in domestic competition with only Spartak St Petersburg and Lokomotiv-Rostov having claimed Superleague wins.

CSK VVS-Samara and Ural-Great Perm are also in the EuroCup and have lost both of their games this season.

On Wednesday, UNICS Kazan brushed aside CSK VVS-Samara 101-68 and Dynamo Moscow Region thrashed Ural-Great 101-81.

The day before, however, saw Spartak St Petersburg prevail 89-77 at Enisey Krasnoyarsk.

They won after outscoring their hosts 26-8 over the final 10 minutes.

Spartak began the fourth quarter trailing 69-63 and reeled off nine consecutive points.

They took the lead for good when Milovan Rakovic made the first of two free throws with seven minutes remaining.

On October 7, Lokomotiv-Rostov won a battle of EuroCup sides, beating Ural-Great 77-75 in overtime.

Sergei Vorotnikov's three-ball in the final minute secured the victory for Rostov.

That is the only game Lokomotiv have played this season, while Ural-Great are 0-2.

Spartak are 1-1 and CSK VVS-Samara 0-2.

Reigning champions and league leaders CSKA Moscow have won all three of their games so far while Khimky and Dynamo Moscow Region are unbeaten after two games.
