Italy remained unbeaten in the U18 European Championship Women 2010 in Slovakia, after yet another great team showing earned them an easy 81-51 win over Ukraine.
The winners succeeded in neutralizing Ukraine's top scorer Alina Iagupova and making the game a routine affair.
Lucia Morsiani had a 61.5 field goal shooting percentage and scored 17 points for Italy. She also grabbed five rebounds and rejected two shots.
Iagupova missed all 12 of her three-point attempts but still led Ukraine in scoring with 13 points while she was the only one in her team to reach double figures in scoring.
Italy had six players reaching double digits.
The Azzure opened the game with 13-1 run behind five points by Marsiani while Iagupova couldn't find her beyond the arc touch for a second game in a row.
Ukraine had no plan B to pick their game and by the end of the third quarter Italy had already stretched the margin to 33 points.
