In the latest instalment of 24 seconds, FIBA Europe.com caught up with Italy and Toronto Raptors star Andrea Bargnani.

Here's what Andrea had to say on his sporting idols, his fondness for pasta and his finest sporting moment.

FIBAEurope.com: What was your most embarrassing moment on the court?
Bargnani: When I was very young I scored into my own basket, although I was little, it was still an embarrassing episode.

Dirk Nowitzki (Germany)
Bargnani says Dirk Nowitzki is the
best player he's had to defend
FIBAEurope.com: What has been your finest sporting moment?
Bargnani: I have been fortunate to experience many beautiful moments so far in my career but the one that stands out is winning the scudetto with Benetton Treviso.

FIBAEurope.com: Have you got any pre-game rituals?
Bargnani: I am not superstitious. I don't do anything out of the ordinary. I rest, eat and go to the game.

FIBAEurope.com: Who is the best player you have ever come across?
Bargnani: Without a doubt Dirk Nowitzki. He is the strongest player out there.

FIBAEurope.com: Who was your idol growing up?
Bargnani: (Argentina international) Manu Ginobili. We had the same coach in Italy and I really liked the way he plays.

FIBAEurope.com: What do you do in your spare time?
Bargnani: I don't get much time off and when I do, I try to rest as much as possible. But I do like being on the computer and surfing the net.

FIBAEurope.com: What is your favourite film and who are the actors you like the most?
Bargnani: I really like cinema but I don't get to go that often because of work commitment and in fact I can't even remember the last film I watched. I like Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis and when it comes to actresses, the list is long.

FIBAEurope.com: What is your favourite food?
Bargnani: Pasta, pasta and pasta. In Toronto I don't have any problems because there are many Italian restaurants there so I'm sorted.

FIBAEurope.com: Who is your best friend in the Italian national team?
Bargnani: I really get on well with all my team-mates, but probably Matteo Soragna. I am sharing a room with him here in Madrid and we know each other from my time at Benetton Treviso.
