Italy continued their unbeaten run at the Dadu U16 European Championship on Tuesday night, easily seeing off Ukraine 83-65.

Taking the lead for good in the third minute of the night, the Azzurrini never looked like giving it up again in a complete four-quarter performance.

Italy were clinical in their shooting, going at 52.2% from the field and 85.7% from the charity stripe, whilst the Ukrainians could only manage 31.1% from the field and 65.6% at the free-throw line.

Carrying on from his hot fourth quarter against Latvia an evening previous, Federico Mussini picked up 22 points on 11-for-13 shooting from the field. Daniel Donzelli ended with 14 points whilst Pierfrancesco Oliva chipped in with 10.

Sergii Pryimak topped Ukrainian scoring with 22 points.

Italy now have the chance to advance to the quarter-finals undefeated when they take on Spain in their final group game on Wednesday. Ukraine face Croatia in a must-win game if they are to advance to the quarter-finals.
