After four years of frustration, Italian fans could finally get to see Danilo Gallinari in a National Team vest and playing in a major tournament. Going right back to EuroBasket 2007,the forward was on the verge of playing before injuries ruled him out while of course Italy didn't qualify two years ago. He didn't play during the Qualifying Round last summer either and he's been badly missed but now he's ready to roll and Italy will have the services of another potential big time scorer. He is a hot property in the NBA mainly because of his size and of course he has posted decent numbers again since his trade from the Knicks to Denver. He can shoot the ball from downtown as well as get to the hoop and in addition to his offensive power, he will also be a real bonus on the boards for Italy.
