|Elena Bestagno had 10 points, together with 4 rebounds and 5 assists to spark Italy|
Italy put together a big fourth quarter to pull clear and defeat the Netherlands 58-44 at the U20 European Championship Women.
Italy bounced back from their opening loss to France to level their record in Group C as they outscored the Dutch 17-8 in the final quarter.
After Kourtney Treffers' jump-shot closed the gap to three, 41-38, early in the final stanza, consecutive three-pointers from Federica Nannucci, Irene Cigliani, and Elena Bestagno saw Italy race clear.
The gap was rarely less than double figures again, and Italy finished with a five straight points from Laura Spreafico to put an exclamation mark on their win.
That took Spreafico to a team-high 13 points, while Alessandra Tava added 12 and Nannucci and Bestagno finished with 10 each.
Chatilla van Grinsven had 13 points and 14 rebounds for the Dutch, while Maxime Essanstam added 11 points.
The Dutch drop to 1-1 after their huge win over Belarus on the opening day.
