Due to make his 100th appearance for Italy in his first game of summer 2015, Marco Belinelli comes off a two-year stint with the San Antonio Spurs when he became the first Italian to win an NBA championship. Previously an international at U18 and U20 levels, he made his senior debut in 2006 against Serbia-Montenegro ahead of featuring at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in Japan - where he scored 25 points against the USA - and played at EuroBasket 2007, 2011 and 2013. He started his career with Virtus Bologna before moving to Fortitudo where he won the Italian league and Cup. He was taken 18th in the 2007 NBA Draft by Golden State, followed by stints with Toronto, New Orleans, Chicago and San Antonio before signing for Sacramento in July.
