France underlined their Eurobasket credentials with a convincing victory over fellow Eurobasket finalists Israel in a warm-up tournament.
The base for an impressive victory for Les Bleus was an excellent display by their NBA stars with Tony Parker, Tariq Abdul-Wahad and Jerome Moiso all to the fore.
The French raced quickly into a 19-8 lead but then the Israelis rallied strongly to reduce arrears to 23-21 at the end of the first quarter.
The visitors then briefly took the lead at 28-26 before the French clicked into gear and tightened up their game with Moiso particularly impressive. The Toronto Raptors ace was in superb form and the French reached the halfway point with a healthy 48-37 lead.
After the halfway point it was Parker who came to the fore as he showed the form that earlier this year saw him become the first Frenchman to win the NBA with the San Antonio Spurs.
Soon the margin stood at 57-37 and then at 77-49 at the end of the third period. With the game virtually over, Alain Weisz's side eased up and Vincent Masingue finished well to end with a personal haul of 12 points.
Parker picked up 20 points for his efforts while Moiso finished with 11 but Israel's Tal Burstein won the individual honours with an impressive tally of 25.
Weisz will name his 12-man squad for Eurobasket on Sunday at the end of this three-day tournament which follows on from the Liege tournament where France won all three matches.
