Coming off the worst season in his four-year romance with the NBA, Israel's top performer Omri Casspi has a lot to show. Career lows of 42 games, 12 minutes-per-game and only 4.1 points-per-game put an end to his journey with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Before joining his new team, the Houston Rockets, Casspi wants to lead Israel to new heights. This will actually be his debut appearance at EuroBasket after helping Israel qualify to the big stage prior to 2011 and 2013, without then stepping into the deep water. One of the better athletes in the competition, Casspi will show his ability to play both forward positions, attack the rim in straight lines, be aggressive at any second, hit the open shot and be a great force in the transition game. Casspi is expected to be the number one target for most of Israel's opponents, and he will need to show he can handle that. With Israel targeting the next phase, and Casspi in the front seat, all eyes will be focused on his EuroBasket debut. The pressure is on, and that is exactly the type of situation Omri Casspi embraces.
