Germany and Israel prevailed over the Netherlands and Ireland respectively, to advance to the semi-final of the Termosteps U16 European Championship Women Division B.
Israel won 41-30 over Ireland while Germany crushed the Netherlands 75-35.
The Israel-Ireland game an was extremely physical affair and in separate incidents Ireland lost injured Emily O'Callagham in the second period and Israel Shira Ben Barak in the third.
Bea Galinski's pressure on the offensive boards made the difference between the teams. She finished with a game-high of 13 points and 18 rebounds and was supported by Shira Ben Barak with 11 points before her injury.
Ronny Kahn, Israel's head coach, commented after his team's victory: "When things are not in your hands, you have to wait for other people to help you. That's the hardest thing for a coach.
"It was a great achievement for us as we are not considered to be one of the top four teams in terms of talent here and physically structured. My girls are heroes."
Germany maintained their perfect record by destroying The Netherlands 75-35.
The game was over as a contest already in the latter part of the second quarter with a four-minute 12-0 German burst (38-14).
Adding to the Netherlands' misery Rosanne Guijt, the current three-point leader of the tournament, was taken out of the game with an injury problem.
Sonja Greinacher top-scored with 18 points and 6 rebounds while Svenja Brunckhorst dished out 6 assists.
Germany's head coach, Alexandra Marz, said: "It was a difficult game for us, especially in defense and also offense. Congratulations to the girls as they really played well and were focused."
England held off Romania 60-54 with Katrin Chiemeka registering a double-double with a game-high of 20 points and 11 rebounds.
