At 2.02m, Ermolinskij is a surprisingly versatile player. He is a good ball handler and protects the ball well with his big frame. He has good decision-making skills, is a good passer and creates few turnovers. He has great vision over the court, given that he is particularly tall for a point guard. He can shoot well both inside and outside the arc and when he has a mismatch, he can take players to the hoop. He has also shown in the past that he is a great team defender. He averaged a triple-double before injury in the Top Division in Iceland last season. Ermolinskij will be vital to the team in Berlin bringing the ball up the court, getting team rebounds and as the playmaker to create offensive opportunities for his team-mates on the big stage.
