Hungary look set to be without Kornel David as well as Tibor Pankar for their opening European Championship qualifier next week.
Falco KC's Pankar will definitely miss the match against Belgium on September 8 through injury while David is almost certain to be absent as well because of club commitments.
Pankar is likely to be sidelined for up to two months after straining a hamstring during last weekend's warm-up tournament, where the Hungarians won the Pannon-Cup in Szombthely.
David's participation is also in doubt as the centre has linked up with the training camp of his Spanish club Tau Ceramica.
Meanwhile Laszlo Czigler will continue to prepare with the Hungary squad, despite carrying a light injury.
The team will begin their preparations - after a few days break - on Thursday and will be in the capital Budapest until Monday when they will travel to the venue of the first qualifying game in Paks.
Alongside Hungary and Belgium in the European Championship qualifying Group C are Germany and Ukraine.
