| 22.08.2010 Champions Hungary are the winners of the Division B U16 European Championship Women. In Skopje, Hungary edged the Slovak Republic 55-44 to claim the tournament title. Amadea Szamosi had another big game for Hungary. She posted 18 points and 15 rebounds. While Slovakia failed to win the title, they still got promoted to the higher division. Portugal finished third in the championship. The Portuguese had no trouble to defeat England (78-52) in their last game. Germany tabbed a fifth place after they beat Bulgaria by ten points (65-55). Slovenia ended the competition on a positive note. The Slovenians out-duelled Romania in the game for seventh place (63-59). Latvia finished ninth after beating Israel 61-51, while Denmark claimed rank No. 11 after shutting down Ireland (50-36). Final classification of Division B: 1. Hungary 2. Slovak Republic 3.
