Kostas Kaimakoglou is likely to play another cameo role coming off the bench for Greece at EuroBasket 2011. This has been his contribution during the last couple of tournaments and when called upon, he has been efficient and ineffective in short spells. He really exploded for Maroussi and two seasons ago he was a stand-out player in Euroleague which helped him get a move to Panathinaikos and become a Euroleague winner. Known for his maturity and unwavering commitment to hard work and dedication to the team ethic, he also has plenty of talent and has been an integral part of the rotation during his first year with the Greens, although a leg injury did slow him down later in the season. He can do pretty much everything from playing hard-nosed defence to scoring, rebounding and working tirelessly off the ball. He can also cause potential match-up problems with opposing forwards because of his strength and power.
