Dimosthenis Ntikoudis

Career: G.C.Larisas (Greece-2nd Division, A2, 1994-1998), AEK Athens (Greece-HEBA A1, 1998-2003), Pamesa Valencia (Spain-Liga ACB, 2003-2004), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Super League, 2004-2005)

Until the end of the last century Ntikoudis was known only in the town of Larisa as a big talent. When he transferred to AEK his career steadily increased on the basketball stock market. Quickly he became maybe the best power forward in Greece, gaining a place with the national team. The “best man” at the marriage of his close friend Hatzivrettas the last two years have been spent between Greece, Europe and the NBA. He tried twice to make his NBA dream come true but he was twice unlucky as he injured his back a few days before the two try-outs with Toronto. But he didn’t give up. He kept on trying and after a good season in Spain played last year in CSKA Moscow together with Papaloukas. Explosive player near the basket, quick and a good middle range shooter.
