Hosts Hungary overcame a late rally from Greece to advance to the last four of the OSTCHEM U20 European Championship Women on Thursday.
The Hungarians were leading 53-37 entering the final period but Greece piled on the pressure to reduce the final margin of defeat to 63-58.
Russia beat Greece 71-46 in their second Quarter-final Round game in the OSTCHEM U20 European Championship Women in Hungary.
Tatiana Bokareva led the way with a fantastic performance, collecting 20 points and 14 rebounds to guide her team to a comfortable win.
Belgium fell behind early but clawed their way back to edge Greece 58-56 in Group F.
Marjorie Carpréaux and Virginie Michiels each scored 12 points for the winners, with the former also finishing the game with five assists and six steals. Michiels, a 1.8m power forward, also had five rebounds.
Bulgaria matched Hungary's efforts by becoming the only other team to make it through the preliminary round with a 100% record.
But while Hungary overwhelmed their opponents on Sunday, Bulgaria were made to struggle by Greece before claiming a 53-52 win.
