Anthoula Chatzigiakoumi

Anthoula Chatzigiakoumi might only be 17-years-old, but she has already shown the kind of potential to suggest she could have a bright future at the elite level in years to come. Asking her to make the cut and have an impact at EuroBasket Women 2011 may be a little too much, but she is a name that looks destined to make headlines in the future. She finished last season strongly with Esperides with an increasing number of minutes and one of her biggest attributes is her ability to make smart decisions and look after the ball well for an inexperienced player. She debuted for her country at the U16 European Championship Women back in 2007 at just 14-years-old and has enjoyed four successive summers playing through the youth categories, including averaging 13.1 points and 5.8 rebounds last year at the U18 European Championship Women.
