Dexia Mons-Hainaut won for the second time in three games in EuroChallenge Group F with an 84-66 triumph at KK Zagreb on Tuesday. Chris Finch's team led by just two points at half-time and the game was knotted at 38-38 early in the second half. That's when the Belgian outfit, which played in the EuroCup title game last season, turned the game on its head. Kelvin Torbert scored five points in a 10-0 run that gave Dexia a 48-38 advantage and they stayed on top for the remainder of the game. By the end of the third quarter, the visitors had a 60-48 lead and Finch's team went in front by 22 in the final period before settling for a 18-point triumph. Elton Nesbitt scored 20 points for Dexia, who had three other players in double figures. Dexia out-rebounded Zagreb 34-26. Ante Tomic finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and four assists for Zagreb, who slumped to 1-2. |
