Thompson is a long-time United States international who helped Spartak Moscow Region capture their first two EuroLeague Women crowns.

The much travelled Frohlich is a Germany international who recently helped Good Angels Kosice upset previously unbeaten Rivas Ecopolis in the EuroLeague.

Targoviste president Gabriel Boriga spoke about the addition of the two players on the club's website.

"The record of the two is absolutely sensational and without question it is an honour they have accepted our offer."

Targoviste finished second in Group H of the EuroCup Women Qualifying Round with four wins and two defeats.
