Spartak M.R. Noginsk enjoyed a storming start to the EuroCup Women with an 82-56 mauling of BC Star-TLÜ in Tallinn on Thursday.
The Russian club, which got 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists from Colleen Miller, took immediate control and led 23-9 at the end of the first quarter and extended that to 44-22 by half-time.
The home side managed to reduce the deficit to 13 in the third quarter but were blown out in the end, leaving them with virtually no chance of winning the two-legged tie.
