The youngest member of the Frankfurt young guns, alongside Danilo Barthel and Konstantin Klein, Johannes Voigtmann was the one making the biggest headlines. Only picking up basketball halfway through his teenage years, Voigtmann has over the past season grown into arguably the best German center in the Bundesliga, averaging 12 points and 5.9 rebounds per encounter. Only 22, Voigtmann already has a fine set of moves, sets his feet well and even added range beyond the three-point line, something that might come as a surprise given his 2.11m, 115kg frame. He was one of the main reasons Frankfurt finished sixth in the regular season, gaining invaluable experience going up against the Bundesliga's best big men. Expect Voigtmann to fight for the back-up center role behind Tibor Pleiss.
