In the relegation round of the U18 European Championship 2011 Klym Artamonov had 21 points, four rebounds, six assists and four steals while Volodymyr Gerun collected 16 points and 18 rebounds as Ukraine beat Greece 68-60 to improve to 3-1 in the group.
Greece, who were paced by Petros Melissaratos with 18 points and 10 rebounds, dropped to 2-2.
The Czech Republic also moved to 2-2 with a 67-61 win over Finland thanks to 25 points, 14 rebounds and five steals from Martin Kríz.
Finland dropped to 1-3 in the group despite 19 points and 12 rebounds by Joonas Cavén.
In the 9th-12th classification round, Andrejs Grazulis scored 13 points and Rihards Ginter scored 12 points as Latvia beat Slovenia 78-69 and will face Russia in the ninth place game.
Slovenia, who received 22 points from Ziga Dimec and seven points, seven assists and six steals from Aleksandar Tomic, will take on Germany for 11th place.
Gleb Goldyrev scored 15 points and Vladislav Trushkin added 11 points and 11 rebounds as Russia came back from a 20-point deficit midway through the second quarter to beat Germany 69-66.
Paul Zipser scored 21 points while Dennis Schröder collected 11 poitns, seven assists and four steals but also missed the potential game-tying three-pointer with four seconds left.
