BC Siauliai upset Italian outfit Vertical Vision Cantu in Lithuania on Tuesday for their second victory in EuroCup Group C.
Siauliai, who are coached by Aloyzas Rudys, are proving to be an enigma.
They edged Dexia Mons-Hainaut in their opener 74-73, only to then be destroyed by Nancy 104-68 in the last round.
The Lithuanian team bounced back in style with a 74-69 win over Pino Sacripanti's Cantu.
Siauliai trailed 40-37 at half-time but outscored their visitors 22-13 in the third quarter to take command before holding on over the final 10 minutes.
Darius Pakamanis poured in a team-high 16 points for the winners, who also got 12 from Tadas Klimavicius.
Cantu started the season fast but have slowed down considerably in recent games.
They won for of their first five games in Italy, beating the likes of Armani Jeans Milano, and they also hammered Nancy in their EuroCup opener, but Sacripanti's team has now dropped two straight in Europe, and in Lega A.
Nate Johnson had 16 points for Cantu, while Siauliai kept Kebu Stewart in check, limiting the center to seven.
Stewart did grab 10 rebounds.
