Fournier's French In Swedish Adventure

France are set to take aim at another podium finish as they head into the U18 European Championship for Women in Sweden.

The country's senior side captured a gold medal at the EuroBasket Women in Latvia, and Jérôme Fournier's U18 team is in buoyant mood after winning eight of its 10 preparation games.

The young Les Bleues will open their campaign in Södertälje against Ukraine on Thursday.

France, whose Diandra Tachtchouang isn't able to play in Sweden due to injury, also have Group C clashes with Russia and Slovakia.

France squad: Florine Basque, Linda Bousbaa, Morgiane Eustache, Touty Gandega, Eléonore Grossemy, Adja Konteh, Kadidia Minte, Esther Niamke, Margaux Okou Zouzouo, Isabelle Strunc, Allison Vernerey and Sophie Watrelot.
