French international Jerome Moiso admits his dream career in the NBA continues to feel more of a "nightmare".

The 25-year-old Guadeloupe-born forward, capped 26 times by France, moved to the world`s leading basketball league in 2000 as a first draft pick for the Boston Celtics.

But he has since failed to settle at any one club.

After spending 2001 with the Charlotte Bobcats, Moiso moved onto the New Orleans Hornets last year.

His latest port of call is the Toronto Raptors, where he is yet to convince coach Kevin O'Neill that he deserves a starring role.

"What can I say? This is a nightmare," Moiso told French sports daily L`Equipe.

"All I can do is train and wait."

Scotland`s Robert Archibald has been playing ahead of Moiso, but the Raptors` manager Glenn Grunwald insists Moiso still has a future in Toronto.

"He is talented," Grunwald said, "but he has to force himself."
