France captain Tony Parker admits his side have no excuses for last night's 89-84 defeat to Sweden in their final European Championships warm-up.

We have no excuse
Tony Parker
The match started an hour later than scheduled after being switched from Uppsala to Stockholm after France coach Alain Weisz complained about the Uppsala Arena's hard surface.

But the delay had little effect on the home side who snatched victory despite Parker's 32 points and eight decisive passes.

The NBA star said: "We have no excuse, but we'll have to bounce back and take this defeat positively."

France, who are in Group A, start their Eurobasket campaign on Friday against Bosnia-Herzegovina before taking on Italy and Slovenia on Saturday and Sunday.

The 2003 Eurobasket takes place in Sweden from September 5 to 14.
