France coach Alain Weisz has warned his team that Eurobasket quarter-final opponents Russia are no one-man band.

Weisz admits that Andrei Kirilenko is a basketball phenomenon but he insists that the Utah Jazz forward is only one of several players who could give France a torrid time on Wednesday.

"They are driven by (point guard Vassili) Karassev and by Kirilenko who has maybe the same importance for them that (Dirk) Nowitzki has with Germany,'' Weisz told L`Equipe.

"He is a particularly strong player to whom we will have to pay special attention but he is not the only one because (Sergei) Monia, (Nikolai) Khryapa and Karassev are very strong.''

Weisz is studying videos of the Russians.

"We have already been through the cassettes and watched all their pool matches,'' said Weisz.

"But visual impression is important too. That`s why we have had someone at the games to make us a personal report.''
