FIBA Europe League MVP of the week honours go to France this week courtesy of Paris Basket  Racingguard Laurent Sciarra.

Sciarra was the key performer in a win against Greek side Peristeri which quite simply kept his club's play-off hopes alive.

With their record at 1-3, PBR were teetering on the break of an early exit from the play-off running. The top 4 from each group advance to the next round and daylight was beginning to emerge between PBR and their nearest rivals.

Nonetheless, the French side dug deep to defeat Peristeri 82:80, behind 21 points and 7 assists from Sciarra. The former French national team player was rock solid in his shooting touch, hitting all 4 of his 3-point field goal attempts.

He also committed just 1 turnover in 36 minutes on the floor.

PBR are now tied with KK Hemofarm Vrsac on 7 points in Group B.
