Nathalie Lesdema and France hit back from a disappointing loss on Saturday to Serbia & Montenegro in style with a 79-66 win over previously unbeaten Poland in Group A.

Les Bleues, still smarting from that two-point defeat, were taking on the side in these championships boasting the seven-footer Margo Dydek but that didn't stop them looking to attack the basket down low.
Lesdema took the majority of those shots and ended up 13 of 20 for a game-high 28 points.
France scored 31 points in the first quarter and led by nine but the Poles clawed it back to 47-43 at the half-time break.
Poland were their own worst enemy, though, struggling to make the most of their possessions by turning the ball over - they had 24 turnovers on the night - and France built their lead back up to double digits by the end of the contest.
Poland will be looking to get their third win on Tuesday against Israel while France take on the Czech Republic.
