French U20 Coach Philippe Ory will begin his preparations for the European Championship on 5th June. Ory's first task will be to narrow down the number of national team candidates from 24 to 16 for the European Championship which will take place 14-23 July in Izmir, Turkey.
Due to the fact that some players are still to finishing the season with their club sides, 16 players will be called to the first camp in Vittel on 5th June.
Orly will select 8 of those players to remain in the camp, and they will be joined on 8th June by a further 8 players.
