Team 2010-11: Le Mans (France - Pro A)
Career: Cholet Basket (France-Pro A, 2004-06), ALM Evreux (France-Pro B, 2006-08), JDA Dijon (France-Pro A, 2008-09), Le Mans SB (France-Pro A, 2009-11)
In a National Team with only NBA players, former NBA ones or NBA draftees, the chances of seeing Charles Lombahe-Kahudi going through the final cut are slim although he will be ready to step up in case of an injury at the two to four positions. This former Cholet youth team member is a kind of late boomer who was only averaging 4.1 points per game with Dijon, at 23, during the 2008-09 season. He came to Le Mans on a short term contract in the fall of 2009 to finally find a home there. Charles blossomed during the 2009-10 playoffs after a very quiet season. He confirmed this year his versatility and great defensive skills in a Le Mans team which struggled all season long. Last summer, he was close to making it to the FIBA World Championship, but the return of Mike Piétrus seems to clearly have shut the door for him again. Nevertheless, he'll give 100% at each and every practice and be ready if he's needed.
