Celine Dumerc

Career: INSEP (France-NF1, 1998-2000), Tarbes (France-LFB, 2000-03), Bourges (France-LFB, 2003-07)

Dumerc is getting better and better each year. Selected to the team that competed in the FIBA U20 World Championship in 2003, she has now become a very important player for the identity of the French team. Completely dedicated to the team effort, Dumerc is impressive on defense where she is used to locking down the other point guard. At EuroBasket Women 2005, she stepped up big but her performance at the World Championship in 2006 was a bit of a disappointment.  With club side Bourges, she won the three national titles in 2006 and led her team at the EuroLeague Women Final Four despite their relatively limited budget. An attempt was made to lure the 25-year-old elsewhere but she chose to stay with Bourges next season despite offers of more money.
