An exciting prospect, Yemi Oyefuwa is making up for lost time in more ways than one. Having been something of a late bloomer after not picking up the game until she was in her mid teens, a post season injury at Maryland resulted in her sitting out last summer during the Qualifying Round when she was expected to be given an opportunity. Described by the Great Britain coaching staff as very intelligent with a real desire to improve, her personality is widely acknowledged as one of her biggest positives. She is currently progressing her skill-set to an international standard, and has made significant strides in a short space of time. Oyefuwa has the potential to be a real menace in the paint for Great Britain in years to come. |
